Shattered but Pleasing

We look at the Shining stars in the sky every night,

But only wish upon a shooting star,

which is breaking off the sky.

Similarly, some things become

more valuable when broken.

For example Heart, relationships,

and broken hearts of people in these

broken relationships.

In Japan,

there is an art of Kintsugi,

where broken ceramics are put back together again.

Their cracks are filled with gold cement,

To remind you,

remind me and all of us,

that broken can be beautiful again.

To remind us that

memories may fade,

but don’t be afraid to remember,

To remind us,

the importance of being and

staying glued in this together.

To teach us,

that our past history is what actually helps

us reset.

To remind us,

even though the heart moves on,

does it really really forget?

Main nahi janti ki tute hue tukdoon ko kon Jodhta hai,

Lekin itna zarur janti hoon,

Ki thand se thuturta hua aadmi , Aaj bhi

Faati hui chaader kyu odhta hai.

Kyunki voh chaader aaj bhi usse apni yaad dilati hai,

Kyunki vo chaadar aaj bhi Khud ko Khudse milati hai!!

In Kintsugi, when two broken pieces are put together,

they are given time,

for the glue to harden, and for the craftsmen to divide the pieces.

before putting them together.

Two broken people meet in this way only.

They walk together but with the fear of being completely broken Again.

The fear of having to hear or say yet

another GOODBYE.

the fear of loving way too much or maybe too little.

the fear of knowing that their hopes

and dreams are still way too brittle.

But what love is that,

that you aren’t afraid to lose?

what a traveler is? who doesn’t have a home?

If you’re on this journey, relax and breathe in,

If you are broken today,

Don’t be afraid to shatter tomorrow.

Learn to Shatter.

True lovers are not afraid of being broken.

Remember You’re Shattered but Pleasing…….
